GUIDED TRIPS

Here in The Northwoods we are blessed with a large variety of fish to target including Crappie, Walleye, Bass, Lake Trout and my personal favorite the Muskellunge.

MUSKY

Musky fishing season opens Memorial day and goes until December. Here in Vilas county we have a plethora of lakes full of muskies ranging in all sizes. For “Musky trips” I prefer to keep it 1-2 guests, my boat is just under 18ft. We use 9-9 1/2 rods and with multiple people it increases the risk of people getting hooked.

WALLEYE

Walleye season opens first saturday in may (May 3rd this year). We target these fish throughout the season following their migrations and adapting as needed.

BASS

Here in the Northwoods we have a large variety of options when it comes to bass fishing. We have crystal clear lakes known for trophy fish, we have lakes absolutey full of fun size fish and we haves lakes with potential trophy largemouth and smallmouth. strictly smallmouth trips along with largemouth as well. My personal favorite time to target trophy smallmouth bass is throughout the month of may. although with technology we have trophy fish can be targeted year round.

SPECIALTY TRIPS

  • ICE FISHING (groups of all sizes)

  • RIVER FLOAT TRIPS (musky/bass, ask about this, seasonal and limited space/equipment)

SHORE LUNCH:

Michael is a Ser Safe certified chef, if interested food can be prepared and cooked on the water. Fresh food is a great way to take a break, recoup and re-energize.
