Hello My name is Michael Katsis, I am 26 years old and was born/raised in a suburb of Chicago Illinois known as Naperville. Growing up I spent every summer at my family cabin in Vilas county. I spent my childhood chasing panfish, bass, pike and muskies at a very young age. As a teenager and young adult I spent several years traveling fishing bass tournaments, in addition I have made a lot of really close friends who have introduced me to fishing the great lakes. I have gained an extent of knowledge chasing trout, walleye and salmon as well. The Northwoods are my home and I love learning new things everyday on the water. 2026 will be my second year as a full time fishing guide and I look forward to meeting new people everyday! I was a serve safe certified cook for a few years at one of Wisconsin’s most historical resorts known as Bents Camp resort. I love fishing and cooking, shore lunches and cooking on my boat are not uncommon!

Fishing is my addiction, something I have done my whole life. I will do everything in my power and knowledge to make sure you catch fish, learn as much as you would like and most importantly have a great time!

One of my biggest accomplishments of 2026 was taking first place in the Bent’s Camp Fall Musky league!
